Herschel Supply brings you the next installment of W5&H: A Who, What, Where, When, Why & How featuring top influencers from a selection of top industries. This installment features Roger Bagley, a very talented skateboard filmer who has worked on projects such as MTV’s Viva La Bam, Girl & Chocolate skateboards Pretty Sweet, Brand X with Russell Brand and currently is the videographer for Skateboarder Mag. 1. Who are you? Some people may think I’m some sort of pretentious prick. Was recently called that, that’s the only reason I bring it up.
But, I’m not though. I’m really just the quiet type, someone who might just be sitting back taking in surroundings and possibly judging others behaviors. I mean who doesn’t enjoy doing that, there are a lot of strange people out there in the world. So, who am I? I’m just like you, except my parents decided to name me Roger Alan Bagley. A name that I don’t even enjoy saying…

2. What do you do? Struggling through life on a daily basis seems to be the thing I do the most right now. Looking to change that in 2013 though. Big things in the future for me, like winning the lottery on a monthly basis and not having to sit in LA traffic to get to a skate spot. But for now, my video camera and I struggle on the daily to bring the fans of skateboarder magazine the best web video content possible.

3. Where do you live?  Really have the urge to quote Jereme Rogers right now and respond with “I’m living in my skin”…and currently my skin is living in Venice, Ca.

4. When are you most productive?   I’m most productive when I know what I’m getting myself into and the people who I’m working with are all on the same page. Work Smart, Not Hard!

5. Why Videography?   Why videography? That’s a question I ask myself all the time. Photographers have it so much easier than videographers. Plus, photographers get paid the big bucks and get all the girls.

6. How did you get your start? It all started one day in the early 90′s when I pressed down on the lock release button and moved the power switch from OFF to ON….and it’s been ON ever since.
